Hi everyone we have just finished two incredible weekends of Christmas Celebration.  These were two action packed weekends.  Always a time to see lots of friends that come to visit.  I think everyone is quite tired after all the performances and we have so many people that help in so many different ways.  We are so blessed to have so many dedicated people.  This week I am going to get Laurie to show me how toinsert pictures.  I have some very cute pictures of Luke and Ella to share.  They are very cute. 

Tonight I shared story time with the Kids Praise choir.  I told the story of the Legend of the Story Cane.  If you are looking for a good Christmas Story book for children I would highly recommend this one.  It is a very cute story.

I want to make sure I tell each of you to have a very Happy Christmas Holiday and remember the Reason for the Season is to celebrate the birth of Jesus.  Don't get so caught up in the busyness of life that you don't stop to think about what this season is all about.

Let me encourage all of you to do random acts of kindness to those who are less fortunate that you.  It is more blessed to give than to receive.  Many times a smile goes a long way.  Be blessed and be a blessing..................I can't wait to Shannon comes home.  I miss you bunches pal.

Wow what a week.  I want to challenge all of you to start saying and believing the next five statmens.  Say them when you get up in the morning.  This is from our Bible Study

God is who He says He is

God can do what He says He can do

I am who Christ says I am

I can do all things through Christ

God's word is alive and active in me

I'm believing God

THese are powerful statements to start your day off.  No matter what comes our way remember Who God is and what He says He can do.  As you get a little discouraged remember you can say I am who Christ says I am...Don't give in to negative talk.

This weekend is the Ann Graham Lotz conference in Seattle.  Pray that many women will come to know the Lord in a life-changing way.  THis should be a powerful weekend.  We are waiting for Luke's little baby sister to arrive.  WHen she comes will determine whether I will get to go. It is important for me to be home for Jenelle is the baby doesn't come.  Pray for a healthy delivery. 

This has been quite a month with our visitors the Owens.  Robert and my Dad were chums from Wales.  It is always a treat for us to have him around. This time we celbrated Robert's 80th birthday while he was here.  Today Mon and I took them to the airport  so they are off until around the same time next year.  One of the things I love the most is when we sit around and talk about the goodness of the Lord.  We reminisced about coming to the United States and what our first years were like.  Both families came over with very little and we see how God has truly been the provider.  God is so faithful to those who pur their trust in Him.  Believing God our study for this quarter is stretching...........this week we study Believing God is who He says He is.  Isaish 45:18-19 is a great reminder  I am the Lord and there is no other...I, the Lord, speak the truth; I declare what is right.  He know who He is and He knows what He is going to do...a great reminder as many of you will have your faith challenged daily.  Remember God's word and don't be easily swayed. This is the time to dig deeper and stay connected to the Lord.  Make sure you are taking time to fellowship with fellow believers. Well so much for Joy's sermonette.  This week Jenelle should have her baby. We are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new little girl...........We love our Luke so much it will be interesting to have a little girl.    Well have a fabulous week.  Let God do some incredible things through your lives....He Is The Answer to the World Today...........................

I can hardly believe it is already September.  I am so excited for the Fall season to be here.  This summer has been action packed.  So many wonderful events. 

I am anxious to get started with our Fall Bible Study.  It is a challenging studyhelping me understand the difference in Believing God and believing in Him.  If you are looking for a great study and want to be a part of a deepening experience join us on Tues. am at 9:30 or Wed. Eve at 6:00p.m.  Wednesday is for everyone, Tuesdays are for women, sorry guys. .........

I just want to remind each of us how much we should be thankful for.  So often we take health for granted, remember each day to thank the Lord for a day when you can get up out of bed, walk,go to school, work etc.  Let's take time to thank those who have invested in our lives.  Take time to thank parents for their love and support.  Let the month of September be a month where you are the encourager.............We are a blessed people.
